Nazarah Course (Pre-Hifz)

Students are taught to learn the Arabic alphabet, their shapes, their harakat (short vowel marks), their sifaat (attributes), with correct pronunciation and articulation through the proper makhaarij (points of articulation). Students then progress to learn the rules of Tajweed and read the entire Quran with fluency. Students are admitted for Nazarah and Hifz Course from 4th grade regardless of any race, color, nationality, or ethnic, cultural, and social backgrounds.

Hifz Course (Memorization of the Holy Qur'an)

Students are taught the method of memorizing the Quran with the rules of Tajweed, in full detail. The syllabus has been prepared in a manner that will enable each student to memorize the entire Qur’an within a three to five-year period according to the student’s capability and potential. After completion of memorization, the student will train to properly retain the memorization by completing a one-year revision (daur) of the entire Qur’an multiple times.

 

Along with their Qur’an studies, students are also taught:

  • Aqeedah (belief)
  • Arkaan (pillars) of Islam in detail
  • Introductory-level Fiqh (rulings) of Taharah (cleanliness, ex: Wudu, Ghusl, etc.),
  • Method of performing Salaah (Daily Salah, Jumu’ah, Eid, Janazah, etc.), Sawm (fasting), Zakah, and Hajj.
  • Aadaab (Islamic Social Etiquette) with their applications. 
  • Students also memorize daily du’aas, hadith meanings
